My introduction and Request

I am a temporary resident of Those V.D.C Ward no.6. I have an experience of 22 years in the field of social work. I worked for S.N.V in Karnali district for its infrastructural and community development for a long period. Unfortunately, I met with an accident in 2003 and became handicapped. But my determination and devotion to do social work remains same. To be honest, my passion for it increases more with every passing day. I have been working hard from the very first day for the development of my village facing all sorts of challenges without thinking about my being handicapped. I hope to publish all my bitter experiences where I faced a lot of challenges soon. I am not seeking an honor for what I did but want the disadvantaged people to find out and solve their problems as soon as possible. Very few people have had benefits from the government’s contribution because of the instable political condition and corruption. The reason behind the main drawback is the lack of opportunities which the people have now come to realize. Despite the poor conditions of the village, if the natural resources are conserved, managed and utilized properly then the youths would not have to leave the place for better opportunities. They would not only be able to earn their living but also work for village’s development.

It may, however, be challenging at first but I believe that with the passes of time, the work will be easier and will be given continuity as well. I proposed many organizations but in vain. I established Savings and Credit Cooperative on my own in 2063/09/19 (2006) for the economic development of the poor villagers. I also established Naglo Asaal Sasan Club from pro-public to bring about transparency in work and end human rights violation. I have been working at my level best. Neither have I received any help as per my work nor have I taken money as per my labour. Despite my poor economic condition, I have been trying hard to work for the villager’s welfare. I fear that the villagers may get involved with bad companies for temporary benefits. In order to fulfill the necessary infrastructure and make the people capable, we are bound to seek for help due to the present situation of the village. We are hopeful to end the fraudulency and bring about the work and plan a reality that may make places in the hearts of all. I have been working or contributing to collect the statistic of the present situation and get funds.

Some representatives of the past in the village have corrupted government’s money and exploited villager labour. They do not want to see the villagers to be alert and knowledgeable so that they can cheat innocent villagers and get benefited by continuing their devil work as always. They also try to threat social workers like us but I believe that sooner or later the truth will win. Truth exists everywhere, so such leaders may understand and create a suitable environment for us someday.

If this proposal is granted then I assure u that the help that the organization be it a governmental or non governmental organization would be used solely for the program i.e. for the welfare of the villagers but not for self. I hope to give sustainability to this program. I along with the villages request and hope that our proposal would be granted and we would get support and help.
